Auction items for Ernie Blankenship Memorial Radio-Telethon announced

The 50th Annual Ernie Blankenship Memorial Radio Telethon taking place on Wednesday, March 30 will feature several auction items during the Hillsboro event, to be held at The Orpheum on North High Street in Hillsboro.

This year’s host, NCB donated a one-night stay for two at one of three hotels at the French Lick Springs Hotel with a round of golf at the Valley Springs Golf Course.

Merchants National Bank donated an autographed photo of Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.

The Hillsboro Rotary Club donated a 2014 Ohio State National Championship football presented to running back Dontre Wilson. It is autographed by Wilson, Joey Bosa, Darron Lee, Vonn Bell, Curtis Samuel and many other players and coaches.

Crowe Financial donated a basketball autographed by Jerry Lucas, a member of the Ohio State NCAA Basketball Champion Team, two-time National Player of the Year, Olympic Gold Medalist, NBA Rookie from the year and a member of the NBA Hall of Fame.

DQ Grill and Chills of Wilmington and Mt. Orab donated a baseball autographed by Tony Perez, member of the Cincinnati Reds Big Red Machine World Series champions.

The Cincinnati Bengals donated a set of miscellaneous memorabilia, including a poster, the season’s schedule and a Cincinnati Bengals hat autographed by tight end Mitch Wilcox.

iHeart Radio’s John Barney has donated four tickets to Keith Urban’s July 16 concert in Riverbend.

The Cincinnati YMCA donated a one-year family membership to the Highland County Family YMCA.

The event starts at 7 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m. Bids can be placed in person or by calling (937) 402-5557. Auctions will end at 8:45 p.m. Items will be on display at NCB’s main office in Hillsboro until the day of the event.
