Clan Cancer Support’s annual online auction to raise much-needed funds
CLAN Cancer Support’s annual online auction launched last week, with the public encouraged to bid on a range of items to raise money for the charity.
The auction started on Wednesday February 9 and will continue until February 27. All money raised will support Clan’s vital cancer support services.
Despite the cancellation and postponement of many events during the coronavirus pandemic, Clan has continued to provide support to people throughout the Northeast through fundraisers and online events.
The online auction has proven to be a popular choice for many who prefer to support Clan virtually.
Clan Charity Development Manager Ruth McIntosh said: “We have a fantastic range of items to suit everyone and what better way to treat yourself and others while helping to support a local charity. ?
“From local artwork, afternoon teas and gift baskets, to luxury overnight stays and golf experiences, there will be something for everyone.
“We are so grateful to the individuals, families and businesses who donated items to the auction.
“The past two years have been difficult for everyone, especially those dealing with a cancer diagnosis, so it is more important than ever, now that we are returning to a sense of normalcy, that we still offer ways to support Clan that are accessible to all.
“Our online auction aims to be that accessible platform for everyone. By supporting events like our online auction, you will allow us to be there for people facing a cancer diagnosis now and in the years to come. to come.”
Clan Wellbeing Centres, Clan Haven, Transport and Helpline Services support those affected by a cancer diagnosis in the North of Scotland.
