Paws-itive Partners, Scooter’s Coffee Offers Coffee and Auction Items at ‘Fall Flavors for Fur’ | Pets
Paws-itive Partners and Scooter’s Coffee are hosting “Fall Flavors for Fur” on Oct. 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. by the fireplace on the patio at 1400 S. Dewey St., on the south side of NebraskaLand Bank, according to a press release. .
Seasonal coffee samplers including Purr-fect Pumpkin Spice Latte, Tempting Turtle Latte and Kitty Caramelicious will be served.
âWe hope to have a nice fall weather and a great turnout,â said Barb Kelsey, vice president of Paws-itive Partners. âOctober is one of our busiest months helping cats in Lincoln County so we hope people support Fall Flavors for Fur. Most importantly, we want people to go out, visit and enjoy being together. “
Coffee tastings are free and a donation to Paws-itive Partners is suggested.
Large and small items to bid on or âbuy nowâ will be available during the event. Gift baskets, pet-themed gifts, holiday items, distressed painted bench, pet items, wreath and more will be available for purchase. The auctioned items can be seen on Paws-itive Partners Facebook from Friday. Paws-itive Partners gifts will be available for as long as they last.
Paws-itive Partners is a non-profit organization that helps dogs and cats in the Lincoln County area year round. October is an especially expensive month due to Love My Cat Month, when the organization has a strong focus on cat overpopulation and offers low cost spay and neuter to cat owners. Paws-itive Partners typically hosts a Purr-fect pasta dinner every October, but this year the Fall Flavors for Fur will take place in lieu of dinner.
