The Clanbrassil Street property will be auctioned online tomorrow with a reserve price of €400,000

Two adjoining premises on rue Clanbrassil will go under the hammer on Thursday March 31 with the online auction company Bidx1.

Buildings adjacent to 6/7 Clanbrassil Street, including the boutique leased to jewelers Aidan Brennan and general offices leased to Malone and Co. Accountants, are up for auction with a reserve price of €400,000.

Described as “a downtown mixed-use investment”, the lot includes two commercial units on the ground floor as well as offices above. the total floor area spanning approximately 697 square meters (7,502 square feet).

A backyard of the property is currently leased to Houston Fashion.

According to the auctioneers, the current total rent is around €39,500 per annum with the vacant use of commercial premises on the ground floor and an office on the second floor.

Meanwhile, five apartments in Omeath, north of Louth, are going up for auction on Thursday March 31, on BidX1, with a starting price of €225,000.

The lot includes apartments number 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, at Mullach Alainn, Knocknogoran, Omeath.

The five two-bedroom apartments vary in size from approximately 82 m². – 93 m². (888 sq. ft. – 1,005 sq. ft.) on the ground floor and two upper floors.

While all five apartments are described as ‘in need of refurbishment’, this presents a real investment opportunity as in February a flat in the same development sold for €155,000 according to the Property Price Register.
